Established in 2000, Penny Lane Mosque is an active community faith space situated in Allerton, Liverpool.

In Sha Allah Eid is on Friday 31st July 2020

There will be three Eid prayers on Friday 31st July which will be at 7am, 8am and 9am consecutively. There will be space for only 50 people in each Eid prayer on first come first serve basis. Once the number has been met the Masjid door will be closed. Please bring your own prayer mats, plastic bags for shoes, masks and stay in the car and come out 15 minutes before the prayer and stay in the queue. Children under 12 are not allowed. Also once the door is closed please do not ring the bell or knock on the door. Please be understanding if you have not been let in due to the space being full. There will be no Eid prayers for the sisters.

Note: There will be only one Juma prayer at 1.30 pm

 

Friday Prayers

The Masjid door will open for the worshippers at 1.15pm for Juma prayer and there will only be one Juma. People must form a queue outside the Masjid's main door. Once we let in 50 people on first come first serve basis the door will be closed. Please be understanding if you have not been let in due to the space being full

Asalam O Alekum,

Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings upon His beloved prophet, Muhammad (saw).

Following recent guidance from the UK government our Masjid has officially opened from Friday 24th July 2020 onwards. Kindly adhere to strict restrictions as mentioned below for Juma salat.

(Note: There is no facilities for the sisters available at the moment)

  1. Only 50 people are allowed on first come first serve basis after that Masjid door will be locked

  2. Masjid will open 10 minutes before Azan and close 10 minutes after Jamat

  3. No children under 12 years are allowed entry. Additionally, no person with underlying health conditions are allowed

  4. You must perform wadu at home if possible as there will be no access for wadu or toilet facilities

  5. You must sanitise your hands before entering the masjid (sanitisers provided)

  6. There will be no access to Quran cupboards

  7. Always abide by the social distancing rules, you must maintain 1 meters distance inside and outside the masjid including queuing

  8. Avoid handshaking or hugging, socialising and gathering within the boundary of the Masjid

    What you must bring with you, always

  9. You must bring your own prayer mat

  10. You must bring your own shoe bag to keep your shoes

  11. Ensure you have wudu before arriving at the Masjid

We will keep the situation under constant review and update the guidelines as necessary and Insha Allah we pray to the Almighty Allah to grant everyone protection, comfort and ease.
